“ This rating is based on the one meal we ordered and shared. I saw a selection that included pancit, with shrimp and everything else possible. It also included lumpia and barbecue on a stick. It was all cooked fresh. The size of the order was enough for the two of us to eat for lunch and dinner (with our own rice). Quality and taste was very good. Four stars, it's really not set up as a place to sit down to eat a meal, just a few tiny tables. You better know how to speak Tagalog or be ready to point at pictures as English is definitely a second language in this place. In the sense of a to go place service was okay, there is NO ambiance lol. While we were there several people came in and picked up large takeout orders (big pans of food). I think this is the bulk of the business. ”
“ Really good, tasty Filipino food with generous positions and reasonable prices. Just wish they stayed open a little later. ”
“ Always fresh and homemade Filipino cuisine. Reminds us of homeland, Philippines We would eat there every day were Meng's location was closer than 25 miles from where we live in Coachella Valley! ”
“ Came here while visiting Palm Springs for a vacation and one of our goals was to have some Filipino food. The selection was good but was not super big. The space was a little bit warm inside, but they did have fans to cool off guests. The prices were much more reasonable than filipino food in Vegas or LA. The food came out quickly and was good, just wanted to have more options. ' You pay after you eat :) ”
“ Was craving lumpia and we found this location, the owners ( I believe they are the owners), were sweet and kind. We tried the lumpia and they were delicious a bit smaller but still good!!! ”
“ Food- is delicious! Service- is good Ambiance- is okay Salamat po. Highly recommended to try. ”
“ MANYAMAN! My family and I were vacationing in the area before the holidays. We were tremendously disappointed with the "highly rated" Tommy Bahamas restaurant. So the next day we were in search of Filipino food. This place nailed it. I don't remember everything we ordered, but we got some tortang talong, several other Filipino dishes and rice. The food smacks! It was so good, we went back the night before traveling back home and ordered food to go for dinner. ”
“ Taste just like home. Food is fresh and delicious. A lot of variety of silog to choose from ”
“ Support your local Mom & Pop shop! If you're looking for authentic Filipino food, this is where it's at! Found this place when we were out in Palm Springs for Coachella. This review is for my overall experience at Meng's. This was my 3rd visit and I had to go with the usual - longsilog and adobosilog plates. First place your order, find a table to sit at, the staff will then deliver the food, then you pay. Both of these plates were very simple dishes yet so good - super flavorful and such comforting food. However, this recent visit, the food was a lot more oilier than I remembered. Also, the seasoned garlic rice didn't seem as fresh as before. Nonetheless, food was still good and service was good. ”
